The GoodHealth Program serves approximately 500 youth and  young adults with moderate to severe special needs in South Bay Area. Join our team to be a part of your community by working directly in the classrooms and participating in community events. Gain leadership skills through experience in being an independent facilitator, leading a project, collaborating with team members and connecting with new networks.

Our team is seeking individuals who are self-motivated, challenge driven, team-oriented, dedicated and passionate about health, education and community.  This internship is geared for individuals who are seeking hands on experience in developing professional skills, creating better work habits, and growing through learning and feedback.

Interns educate high school students and young adults with special needs about various health topics including nutrition, tobacco education, personal hygiene, relationship building, personal safety, manners and personal health management (topics are subject to change based on students).

This summer GoodHealth has partnered up with Goodwill’s Expandability where we will be working within their Neurodiversity Program (previously Autism Advantage Program). We will be providing services through a new summer internship starting June through September. 

We are looking for applicants who are comfortable with connecting with people, interested in networking and outreach, and/or interested in working with individuals with Autism. Enhance your public speaking and time management. Both positions will be flexible 10 to 15 hours a week, Monday through Friday.

Provide weekly support and follow up phone calls to our current clients about work experience. This may include coaching clients through situations at work.
